UofT LIBERALS GENERAL MEMBERS’ MEETING

2 Versions of the Same Meeting to Fit Your Schedule:
6:30 – 8:00 pm OR 8:00 – 9:30 pm

We’re holding two versions of the same meeting to allow people with other commitments (class, events later in the evening) to attend.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about the club, the party, and how to get involved in the political process — to create positive change both on campus and in the community. You don’t have to be a member to attend; you just need and open mind and a desire to get involved. This is an important time in the political history of this country, and with an election on the horizon, you can be a part of it.”

We will have party and club membership forms at the meeting, if you want to sign up on Thursday.

Bring your enthusiasm, and your ideas about what the UofT Liberals can do this year to engage with you and the larger community — about speakers we can invite, fundraisers we can organise, and outreach materials that we can design.

Join the UofT Liberals and federal Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff at a student rally in Waterloo.

Hosted at Wilfrid Laurier University, Michael will be speaking about what we can do as students to move this country forward and help elect a Liberal government that will make our country and our world a better place to live for all Canadians.

We will be leaving by bus from Hart House at 1pm.  There will be a social after the rally with free “refreshments”.  Buses will be returning to the city for about 7:30pm.

Date: Saturday, September 19th, 2009.

Time: Buses leave at 1:00 pm and return for 7:30 pm
