Suggest an Event

The UofT Liberals are constantly on the look-out for exciting event ideas. If you've got someone that you think the UofT Liberals should invite to speak to our club, or if you've got a topic that you think needs some public debate, we'll do our best to make it happen. In the past, we have also worked with non-partisan organisations with exciting policy ideas to put together events and public engagement campaigns. And finally, we are keen to work with campus clubs of all political stripes on events and outreach campaigns that seek to enliven the political debate both on campus and in our communities. • Speaking Events
  The ability to recruit top-notch speakers is one of the things that makes the UofT Liberals such an exciting club. The Liberal Party is full of UofT alumni who are more than happy to come back to speak to students, but we need you to tell us who you want to hear!
• Policy Events
  Young Liberals have consistently brought forward some of the party's most progressive and admired policies, like Canada's recognition of same-sex marriage. If you have a matter of public policy that you want to debate, let's organise an event!
• Political Debates
  To be frank, the reason we spend time working on this stuff is because we love politics. We especially love to argue about politics. Even when we're on the same side of an issue, we rarely agree (especially in the Liberal Party). Let's organise a debate!
• Fundraisers
  Doing politics is hard without money -- for the sole reason that without money (however small an amount), it's pretty hard to get the word out. Let's work together to raise money so that we can host even better events that will help us spread the Liberal message.
• Recruitment Events
  The UofT Liberals cannot function without a solid membership base. Whether it's tabling in Sid Smith, or putting on Frosh Week presentations, we are constantly looking for new people to come on board and help us with outreach.
