The UofT Liberals' Federal Affairs Team is actively engaged with the Liberal Party of Canada in an effort to paint Canada red!

Under the leadership of Michael Ignatieff, our federal team is working with our Toronto Centre MP, the Hon. Bob Rae, and our candidate in Trinity-Spadina, Christine Innes, to bring renewal to the federal party, and a Liberal government to Ottawa.

Federal issues effect the lives of students on a daily basis. Co-ordinated, national action is essential to solving many of the challenges that face Canada both presently and in the future -- fighting climate change, ensuring high-quality public post-secondary education, defining Canada's place in the World, and fighting for national unity. With hardworking and dedicated volunteers and innovative policy ideas, the UofT Liberals can be an important force for change both during elections and in "peacetime".
